Privacy Policy
Svitko does not collect, transmit or share any data whatsoever.
The game has no internet connection, no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no third-party services. Everything the game saves stays on the device it is played on.
What the game stores on your device
Svitko saves the following locally, so a child can continue playing where they left off:
- A profile name, chosen and typed by the player when creating a profile.
- Game progress — the world the child has built, collected items, quests completed, medals earned, coins, and the chosen pet.
- Settings — language, music and sound volume, and similar preferences.
These are stored as ordinary files in the game's own folder on the device. They are never uploaded, never sent anywhere, and are not accessible to us or to anyone else.
About the profile name
Children choose this name themselves. Because it never leaves the device, we never see it. We suggest using a nickname rather than a real name — as a general habit, not because the game requires it.
What the game does not do
- No internet connection is used or requested.
- No advertising of any kind.
- No analytics, telemetry, tracking or crash reporting.
- No accounts, sign-in, cloud saves, leaderboards or social features.
- No third-party software development kits are included.
- No personal information is collected, stored remotely, sold or shared.
- No links inside the game lead to external websites.
Children's privacy
Svitko is made for children. It is designed so that no personal information is collected at all, which is the simplest way to respect a child's privacy rather than manage it.
Because no data is collected or transmitted, the game does not require parental consent for data processing under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) or the GDPR provisions concerning children.
Deleting the data
Because everything is stored locally, deleting it is entirely under your control:
- delete a profile from inside the game, on the profile selection screen; or
- uninstall the game, which removes its saved data with it.
There is nothing stored elsewhere for us to delete on request, because nothing is stored elsewhere.
About this website
Everything above describes the game. This website is a separate thing, and it is worth being precise about it as well.
- The site counts page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, stores no personal data and cannot follow anyone across other websites — it only reports how many visits a page received.
- The video section embeds a YouTube player. It loads from Google's servers, which means Google sees the request. The player is used in its privacy-enhanced mode, which does not set advertising cookies until a video is played.
- The download button leads to a public release on GitHub. GitHub counts how many times the file was downloaded.
- There are no advertising networks, no trackers, no forms and no accounts on this site.
None of this touches the game itself: it still runs entirely offline and sends nothing anywhere.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of the game ever changes how data is handled, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the change will be stated on the store page.
